All rent payments are to be made using BPAY only from your cheque or savings account. We do not accept cash, personal cheques, bank cheques, money orders or credit card payments. Your BPAY Customer Reference Number: your personal reference number will be issued to you when your tenancy commences. For existing tenants, the BPAY customer reference number is same as your DEFT reference number.
In regards to arrears, if your rent becomes over 4 days in arrears you will receive a reminder letter. If your rent continues to be in arrears you will receive phone calls and more severe letters until a termination notice is served for vacant possession.
Obviously this is the most extreme of cases, but at Investment Property Managers we take rental arrears very seriously. You must always be aware that any letter/phone call made in relation to arrears is recorded on your rental ledger, which in turn could affect any future prospective rental property.
